Oxford Bookes vs Cranfield MSc Motorsport Engineering

Hi,

I’m currently in my final year of my BEng Aeronautical Engineering course and I am planning on doing my masters next year. I would like to work in F1 as an aerodynamic design engineer so I have applied to MSc Motorsport Engineering at Oxford Brookes and MSc Advanced Motorsport Engineering at Cranfield. I have already been given an offer by OB and am waiting to hear back from Cranfield, however, in the case I get an offer from them as well I wanted to ask which would be the best uni to go to in terms of modules, lecturers, facilities, connections and just generally living around the campus. Also I wanted to ask about their Formula Student teams as I have heard that OB have one of the best but I can’t find anything about Cranfield.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi @DawoodShahzad, I currently study at Oxford Brookes University and though I haven't studied the MSc Program I can assure you there is varies opportunities which will allow you to refine your skills into becoming a aerodynamics design engineer. The engineering department holds company visits, lecture guests, and job fairs throughout the year as well. Feel free to come visit during an Open Day event to see the brand NEW motorsport engineering campus. -Jess OBU
