Apprenticeship Salary

Hi,

A lot of the apprenticeships I'm applying for are asking for minimum salaries. From what I've applied to so far, the salary can range from 20k to 27k for a software engineering or digital technology solutions degree apprenticeship. What should I put for the minimum since I want a fair salary but also don't want to lose offers for asking for too much?

One place I'm applying to has put 20k plus bonus in description and is also asking for a minimum salary. Should I go higher than 20k?
Assess your skills and what value you can bring to the business.

If you think that this value costs more than the salary offered + education fees for the employer then why not? More likely they won't reject you because of this but will ask you a question about it in an interview

Most degree apprenticeships offer £21k to £28k, depending on the employer. Level 4 apprenticeship salary varies from £8-12k

i just put a lower one about 20K when i was applying because if its a big company they're not gonna pay all the apprentices different wages surely if you're all doing the same job but i mean it's up to you if you think you're not gonna get enough offers by putting a higher salary then put a lower one. ngl ive never seen an apprenticeship where they haven't advertised the salary in the description of the job
