Will my fourth A level grade count towards getting into uni
Hi sorry if this has been asked before however I’m currently studying 4 alevels. I was just wondering if this will give me any benefits for getting accepted into uni. I was also wondering how it works will they accept my top 3 and the fourth won’t matter? Or will all 4 be considered. I’m really confused if I should drop a subject.

Depends a bit. Some places will give a slightly reduced offer on the four to reflect the overall workload compared to doing three, but it depends on the university course. Theres often little good reason to do 4. Which course/unis are you thinking of?

Hi thank you for answering I’ve applied for occupational therapy in Northumbria, university of Liverpool, Ulster university and Glasgow Caledonian

Liverpool, for instance, there is no mention of four a levels on

and while I have little/no knowledge of occupational therapy, Id suspect that the vast majority of applicants would do three a levels. But check on the web pages for the places you mention and if youre really unsure/thinking about four, maybe contact the most likely ones and check what might happen. I suspect the usual advice will be to concentrate on three.
