What’s Warwick like for econ

I’ve got an offer but I’ll be honest the location seems a bit crap in hindsight.
I’m open minded to the countryside and have yet to go to an open day but I can’t help thinking I’ll be disappointed to go there (which I probably will for several reasons). The course is great but I suppose i had higher expectations about what uni life would be like in terms of location and entertainment.

I’m from Lancashire, so I appreciate nice rural areas but I wanted to get away from that for uni.

Hi there
I went to Warwick but studied Biomedical Science. It not actually all that countrysidey because its situated on the edge of Coventry. If you get on the 12X or 11 buses from campus they'll take you right into the city centre from the University in a matter of minutes. Uni lifewise if you're into clubbing there is Kashbah in Coventry, Kelsey's in Leamington Spa and Warwick does regular club nights (Most infamously POP on Wednesday nights). If you're more sporty they have a massive sports hub near the Sherbourne and Heronbank accommodations but you do have to pay for the membership to it yourself its not included with your student ship.
Otherwise there are loads of societies you can join there and they all do regular socials.
