Doing biology degree with no Biology Alevel

Due to options clashing at my school, I wasn't able to do Alevel biology and my chose subjects are irrelevant to it. (History, psychology, art) Therefore I am not able to do a biology degree even with a foundation year. I tried to pick one of my Alevels as my course for uni, however the type of jobs I could get from them after a degree did not interest me.
I have already planned to have a gap year to truly consider what my next step should be initially choosing between history and psychology. Should I study a biology Alevel degree during my gap year so I can take a biology degree?

You could consider 1-2 years certificate or diploma in Biology from the Open University.
It is designed to start you off from no science experience at all and you could then use that to access a degree. You would need to check that Universities would accept it but worth exploring:

You can do a bioscience degree with a foundation year still...not sure why you think you can't.

You may not be able to do every bisocience course with foundation year but there are certainly plenty that accept applicants with no STEM subjects (in fact some which specifically only accept applicants with no STEM subjects I believe).

Just apply to those ones now. For example Southampton, Manchester, Sussex, Liverpool, Reading, Nottingham...there are undoubtedly others beyond those too.

There are specific STEM Foundation year courses for those with good grades but in the 'wrong' subjects :
Science Foundation Year | University of Southampton
and there are similar courses at Leeds and Nottingham
