I've been scammed

Hey all so this girl contacted me on facebook about a warehouse job near me which she said starts tomorrow.
She said to fill out an online application for it and then she'll book me in to start tomorrow.
But it was asking for pics of my ID and stuff.
Then she said that I can email them or send them over whatsapp to her. So I called her and she sounded genuine.
But I asked her when's the deadline to send it and she said asap.
So I felt pressured to send it and am desperate for a job.
So I emailed her my CV, pic of my provisional driving license and national insurance letter.
So she has everything on me now. But I haven't heard anything from her since.
But she said that she was gonna send my details to the client and they will contact me to give me the address and start time etc.
It just all seems dodgy to me so now m worried that it a scam and that she's gonna steal my identity. So what should I do now??

You may potentially be at risk of identity theft (someone may want to use your details for obtaining employment or credit or bank accounts etc) They don't have the actual driving licence just a copy. The same with your National insurance number. It could be used by someone applying for a job needing personal details to avoid problems with home office employment ID checking regulations?

National Insurance Number - Ring 0300 200 3500 and take advice about the potential for identity fraud and if they can put a 'marker' against your account.

DVLA - Driving Licence - Ring 0300 790 7801 and ask if any alert can be placed on your driving licence record - should anyone try and change your address details or apply for a replacement driving licence at a different address.

CV - Sign up to an identity theft protection service - The likes of Bitdefender; Mcafee, nordvpn, are just a few.
Notify as many relevant companies as you can that you may have your information mis-used and ask to be notified if anyone does. Regularly change passwords for strong and secure ones.

Credit Checkers - Experian; Equifax can help you detect any credit checks undertaken on your account. They can also offer help if you are 'cloned' in the next 12 to 24 months although you may need to pay for this service if they will support you in the event your ID is cloned.

Do as much homework as you can on the facebook site. Ask if anyone else has experienced such a scam. Research the telephone number too and see if anyone has any other information. It seems strange she would act as an employment 'agent' for the warehouse when you could apply directly yourself. Any ideas which warehouse it was? Can you contact the warehouse directly and see if anyone else has reported this, let them know?

Keep a general eye on your bank accounts, and a heightened level of alert for any unusual emails, text messages etc. Look at the email address you used for your CV details and see if you can research that too.

Hoping it all might pass without any further trouble - but just in case defend as best you can and be very alert for suspicious post (unsolicited letters or parcels delivered to your address, unknown emails with links, text messages you think are odd - delete or ignore and don't click on any links) Follow everything up and be very suspicious for some time ahead.
