General for most courses yes your prob be fine, but medicine you mat struggle without circumstances.

i think imperial says they only want majority 7-9s including maths and science subjects specifically and i don’t think they often use gcses for shortlisting

i think those grades are enough for kings unless if ur applying for med (then the maths gcse remark would deffo be worth it)

Yeah for med, but why would it matter if I get a A* for maths

I think KCL uses a scoring system for ur GCSEs for medicine, where the total points you can get is 40. They look at your top 8 gcse grades (probs including maths and english) and you lose one or two points for every grade 7, two or three for a 6, etc.
If you get the predicted grades you need and a very competitive UCAT score when it’s time for you to apply, it could still be worth applying (with safer options obv)
also I don’t think imperial will have any problem with ur gcses, but they’d likely want a high UCAT score (they asked for above average in each section this year)

Med, unis want to see amazing track record in terms of grades for obvious reasons. 9/8/7 desired strongly. I mean struggle as you will be disadvantages in comparison to other med students with top GCSE unless you have extenuating circumstance as to why your grades are top tier.
