4 alevels

Currently do 4 a levels maths fm and Chem and physics in y12. Getting an A in maths and fm and B in physics and C in chemistry. Would it matter dropping chemistry and doing three alevels for maths at uni?

No University requires or prefers 4 A levels.
Check the entry requirements for the sort of Maths degree you want to do, but usually the only required subject will be Maths, and for competitive Unis, FM. Some examples :
Courses | Mathematical Sciences | Loughborough University
Undergraduate - Department of Mathematics, University of York

For top unis (like oxbridge, imperial etc) it is definitely possible to get in with 3 a levels and they don't state that you need 4 a levels. BUT if you look at the statistics, the majority of people who do get in do 4 a levels. Im not saying it wont be possible with 3 im just saying that the stats dont lie. Doing 4 a levels will obviously give you a benefit as it shows you can handle a higher workload BUT if you think you wont be able to get a good grade in all 4, then dont take 4.
