What Uni to Apply for Business Management

Hi all, I'm currently looking to apply for 2025 entry however I did my A levels in 2023 and I got BBB in Biology, chemistry and engineering. I am currently working as a Business/Systems analyst.

I don't know which Unis to apply that would be best for me, considering average grades but good experience. I just want to go to a course that allows me to learn Business financing, stock management and understanding and just general business administration.

Thanks

Foundation Year if you can't get them to agree to your BBB otherwise ask them if you can be accepted with BBB instead of ABB?

Hi @TimingFire,

It's great to hear your interested in studying business, I'd love to share a bit about my experience as a business and management student at UCLan. 😊

Personally I've loved my experience, especially with small class sizes for workshops allowing you to build a better relationship with tutors and peers. The course is structured to ensure you have a strong foundation before bringing in more complex concepts, which ensures everyone has a thorough understanding.

Some additional parts that I enjoy about the business school are:

Placement year - there is an abundance of opportunities to do summer internships or a placement year. This is an excellent chance to gain some valuable experience, while having the opportunity to visit a new location.

Support - Tutors, module and course leaders are easy to contact through teams or email. I've found the support system fantastic whether I need advice on my assignments, support for deadlines or general queries.

Entrepreneur support - The student enterprise hub is an excellent opportunity to receive guidance, advice, office space and the possibility of grants towards your business ventures!

We have a variety of business course, ranging in length, module options and more.

Additionally, UCLan is the 1st in the north west for teaching quality on our business management and marketing courses.

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,
-Sophia Reichel (Business and Management)
