Career options with psychology - alternatives to a neuropsychologist

Hi, I’m a first year psychology student at Cardiff University and had career plans of becoming a neuropsychologist but I’m not sure if this is right for me due to how long it takes and the competitiveness of the courses. Are there any alternative careers that are similar to this and the process is not as long? I have considered an occupational therapist but would like to know if there were more options

Have you visited your university careers service? They'll have lots of information and resources you can use to help figure this out

hey i am in year 13, will be studying psychology next year, and was thinking of going into neuropsychology (aware of all steps and how long it takes, though how competitive it is in the uk does scare me) do you think it is not worth it?

Mental health nursing is an option.
