Can you change schools mid year 12?

Looks like I'm gonna have to change schools, considering that i am moving areas and my current school is way to far away. Would it be eligible to change schools now? I take maths, chemistry, psychology. I found a new very good school in my new area, offers all the subjects, same exam boards for everything except chemistry (my current school uses edexcel, possible new school uses aqa), but from what i heard, edexcel and aqa are very similar. Would it be feasible? Would i be accepted? Because I've heard of someone doing that just transferring schools between year 10 and 11, without having to repeat, with different exam boards as well, so I assume mid year 12 would be comparable to that? Or can I somehow teach myself aqa chemistry, and do an as level aqa chem paper as a private candidate in a tuition center (many of those exist in my area), alongside my current edexcel chemistry? BTW my grades are fairly good, with me scoring an 8 in chem and maths gcse, and a 7 in psych, and doing well in a levels. I live in dubai if this helps and i am in british curriculum. Rlly need help here. Thank you.

need help yall, plus, anyways, I never really liked my current school, and I have a lot of friends in my potential new school, while I'm pretty much sort of a loner in my current. Not saying this is important, as I am sort of an introvert. Just asking, would it even be possible.

Ring the school up and find if they have places and if those subjects can accept another student
