medicine backup suggestions

So I've applied to medicine and I've been researching to find a backup but i can't really find anything i'm really stuck especially since I'd prefer a course with much lower grade requirements and is more on the biology side than maths.

I know a biomedical degree is likely to lead to a dead end but are there any good postgraduate courses it could lead to? Postgrad physician associate seemed interesting but after seeing all the negativity and hate around them I've been put off.

Does anyone have any good suggestions?

I’m not sure about grade requirements but perhaps look at optometry, physiotherapy, pharmacy, podiatry as well as orthoptics - all good, interesting alternatives to medicine (and they don’t need the Ucat, are not quite so competitive and have a better work/life balance)
