Will there be more Grad Schemes opening in Jan?

I have recently graduated with an integrated masters in life sciences and have been struggling to secure grad schemes. I’m in the middle of some job application processes but have gotten a lot of rejections too. Currently there’s not much out there because it’s December and it’s really worrying me. Is it too late to secure one? Will there be more graduate schemes/graduate roles opening in Jan?

Yes, there will be more throughout the year until late summer! Just make sure you’re proactive and looking on grad scheme sites and also LinkedIn jobs is a great place too. Good luck with your studies and job search!

No worries at all! Is there any specific industry you’re looking at? This is because a lot of industries have specific trackers - the earlier you apply the better your chances are.

I’ve been keen on breaking into tech, especially data science. Even though I don’t have a computer science degree, my masters was in computational biology so I’ve learnt a bit of coding and data science

I'm doing Economics and in my final year and it's pretty much January and I've got no grad scheme offers. Will anything new be opening up over the coming months?
