Should I still contemplate Oxbridge as a kid in care??

Hi Random post but I basically want to rid myself of all delusion before I start applying for uni's in yr 13.

For the context I'm aiming to go to top unis (especially Oxbridge) but comparing to many others in my school (LAET) my GCSEs aren't great 777766665 (got in through extenuating circumstances) at the time I was in a really bad mental spot... Ironically enough though I tick all the pity points, i.e. - looked after child, first in family to aspire to uni, fsm, bursary etc. but even with all of this extra baggage I'm wondering if I should even bother thinking about Oxford or Cambridge. I do 4 a levels and the course I want to pursue is English lit and hypothetically, if I did well enough in my a levels i.e. A*AA could I perhaps still try? Ever since starting sixth form I've been in a better place so far, lots of stress but that's expected with 4 a levels and ive also gone out of my way to do extra and supercurriculars and go beyond the curricular by going to seminars and whatnot so should i still shoot my shot?
I’m not applying for oxbridge but HELL YEAH you should apply, you have 5 options so you should take advantage of it! Worst case scenario you don’t get an offer, you’ll still have 4 other offers.
Definitely, and there is a lot of support for students from a care background. One of my friends who's just graduated was offered year-round college accommodation and substantial bursaries and grants.
