Why is physics alevel impossible?

So, i need an A for most my offers
i got a 9 at gcse

..so why am i scraping Bs

i understand the content
i do past papers
i go to support sessions
i’m predicted a* in my other subjects
my maths is fine

it’s just physics.

it’s not even like i’m in an exam thinking ‘hmm, how do i approach this question?’

i’m literally thinking ‘was I even in when we learned this ?’

the application in the exams is too much. i’m rethinking my life.

Every A level science is completely different to GCSE. With GCSE it was all about memorising stuff and writing it down with the occasional application while A level is pretty much 100% application. You just have to learn how to pick out key details in a question and 'command words' or ask your teacher for help on how to go about answering these types of questions or how to look for specific 'hints' on how to answer the question

it is not impossible, remember like anything physics is also a skill you need to master. While it does involve lots of maths, it is not the same so just because you may be good at maths doesn't mean your good at physics (A level physics is also wayyy different from gcse). Do a lot of practice questions and self asses using mark schemes. Identify your weaknesses then watch videos or make notes/mindmaps on your weak areas. Then do practice questions again and repeat. Hard work is the only shortcut.
