Student Finance may have gone wrong???

hi, i start uni literally in 3 weeks at University of Wales Trinity Saint David. and i applied for my student finance (actually my brother did for me) now here is the problem.. i got an email saying that my student finance is May - Full time? but i start in January?? soo my question is am i getting the payment in January or May? bcs i’m really scared.. please tell me what he did wrong? is it too late to change the month from May to January? (ps.. this is why me and my so called brother ain’t close bcs i just can’t trust him)

Did you apply to SFW or SFE? If you log in to your account, do you have an option to change start dates? If not, you need to call to get this changed.
Going forward, you need to take control of your own finances so try not to rely on family members doing things for you. Have you checked that all the other details in your application are correct - most importantly the bank account details that your money will be paid in to?
