Will POTS affect my health screening??

I know the answer to this is obvious but im starting a midwifery course this year and wanted to know how my occupational health check will be affected by a pots diagnosis or if i wont be able to do the course at all, i manage it relatively well and it doesnt affect my day to day that much but i still want to know

The occupational health providers will have the final day about things for you but don't worry as they are there for to support you and to make sure that you are getting any support available during your time as a student at university.

Personally I haven't come across any cases like yours in regards of a student having POTS so I wouldn't think it will affect your chances of becoming a student midwife and then in three years time a qualified midwife.

Declare all your medical history so that they can be there for you when you start university. At worst they may request further information from your own GP but needs your written consent if they do.

Good to hear that everything is under control with your POTS but make sure you do not miss loads and loads of university coursework if unable to attend due to this matter okay.
You have to complete every piece of coursework and all your required hours to satisfy NMC rules and regulations before you are issued with your PIN on qualifying.

Hope everything goes well for you with occupational health.
