CPR

I have withdrawn from a DipHE, I completed year 1 (L4) and left towards the end of year 2 (L5) due to health reasons. I have been awarded CPR for year 2 (L5).

Due to the nature of the course (counselling) I do not feel I could go back as it caused too much past trauma to emerge. I would like to change to a completely different degree.

My questions are
1 - If I started on a new degree, can I use the CPR L5 for the year 2? or is it just to repeat the year on the exact course.

2 - My doctor is happy to send a letter regarding that the trauma started in year 1 (L4) but I carried on. Can you get CPR if you have passed the year in question?

Thanks
Natasha

Hi Shelby,

All evidence will be reviewed by an assessor who will determine your eligibility. You can't use CPR for a year you've already used though. So, for example, if you used CPR for a situation in the 23/24 academic year - then you can't use CPR again for that same academic year. But you can apply apply again as long as it's for a different year that you were unable to complete for reasons outwith your control. So if this relates to you then do send the evidence and this will be reviewed accordingly. Thanks, Jason
