HR and recruitment career part time

I currently volunteer for the mind charity an organisation tasked with helping those of mental health issues. I would really enjoy working in HR part-time because I'm a student at the minute; what would be the best volunteer job to get in order to get some experience in HR from the mind charity?

Have a look at the charity website for vacancies or contact their HR department and see what's available. What are you doing with them at the moment?

Do be aware, though, that national charities tend to have centralised departments for overall management of HR, Finance etc. I would think there will be more widespread Mind offices where they offer MH support services, but they will have a much smaller staff and not necessarily the capacity to take on volunteers.

I do retail at the minute in a charity shop. I am wanting to specialise in HR and recruitment. Since my job is basically looking out for people's welfare so to speak and making sure that those in particular under the age of 18 is well looked after.

Sorry, how does retail fit with looking after people's welfare? Do you have responsibility for volunteers at the shop? Have you offered to do any kind of local recruitment? Just trying to gauge your experience. And I have volunteered with and now work for a charity.

How could I get experience in HR and recruitment via volunteer work in England, please?
