Hi,
So some time ago I completed a residential program that was accepted by my leader. I tried putting in the dates on the portal and the portal kept rejecting it. I told my leader about this and he checked. He then found out that the number of days I did were not enough. I did 4 days and 3 nights, instead of 5 days and 4 nights. I did ask him before if it was alright and he said yes. The reason why I chose this specific residential program was because I could afford it. 4 days before I was meant to start the program, I was told that the number of days were short. It was too late to get my money back. Now I don't know what to do. My leader told me to increase the date by one day. The residential program did continue after the 4th day but it was in the town I was living in, thus no longer making it a residential thing but just an activity thing. IDK what to do now.
Thanks

You haven't given enough details of what this course/career is and why the residential is so critical - are you talking about Duke of Edinburghs Award (which requires a residential) or Department of Education (which generally has stringent checks and you are posting in the employment forum).

Don't lie on an application form if you are applying for a job, it's bound to get you fired if you get found out. If you attended all the day elements, just didn't stay for the additional night, can't you claim 5 days and 3 nights?
