What degree should I aim to take? #ClinicalNeuropsychology

I'm in Year 12 currently and trying to figure out what path I want to take.
I'm considering Neuropsychology but unsure what course I should aim to take in university, it's between neuroscience and psychology since they're both very vital in clinical neuropsychology but have their own significance so I'm really not sure what would be better.
I'm doing Biology, Chemistry and Sociology for a levels btw.

Any advice would be much appreciated especially from people with experience in these fields
Thank you!

heyy i also want to go into clinical neuropsychology and am currently in year 13, so you will need a BPS accredited degree so pure neuroscience degrees won't have it, which leaves psychology and psych with cog neuro courses. i feel like it depends on you like just choose whichever you like more, look at the modules etc. i have applied to 3 psychology and 2 cognitive neuroscience with psychology courses and got 5 offers. youre in year 12 so definitely go university open days talk to teachers see what theyre offering, do you like the course outline, environment etc etc open days are really helpful!

If you are intending on applying to medical school my advice would be to undertake a degree program that you can use in your pre-clinical science years. Biomedical Sciences and Biochemistry are solid foundation degree programs for medical school.

Clinical neuropsychology isn't a medical specialism, it's additional training and academic learning after becoming a clinical, counselling or educational psychologist. As has been said, the first stage is an accredited psychology undergraduate degree (or conversion course)
