Difficulty in making choices

I’m really bad at making decisions, and I’m in a bit of a dilemma about choosing a school. Since you know England and London better, I was hoping you could give me some advice—maybe you’ve heard about these schools or know something that could help. Here’s where I stand:

Kingston University: This was my top choice because of its reputation and relatively affordable fees. Unfortunately, my first application didn’t go through, but I reapplied and am waiting for feedback.

Roehampton University: I met them at their open day, applied, and got an unconditional offer. Their fees are fairly affordable, though they’re increasing slightly.

University of Essex: Also met them at the open day. Got an offer letter, but their fees are really high (£23,200), so I’ve ruled them out.

University of Leicester: They rejected my application, but honestly, I wasn’t going to accept anyway because their fees are steep (£25,900).

Anglia Ruskin University: They aren’t running the course I’m interested in for 2025/26, so I’ve swapped them out for...

University of Derby: Derby fits my budget (£14,900), but it’s quite far from London. According to maps, it’s almost three hours away. I’m planning to visit next week to see how doable it feels in reality.

So far, I’ve only received offers from Roehampton and Essex. Since I’m not considering Essex, it’s down to Roehampton, Kingston (if they get back to me), and Derby (if they also get back to me).

What do you think? Any insights or recommendations? Your thoughts would mean a lot!

Hi @CazRemz

Great to hear that you are considering Kingston as you top choice!

What course are you interested in studying here?

I personally really enjoy studying and living in Kingston. I find it is a great balance location wise as it is not as crowded as the centre of London, there is lots of nature and a nice student community. However you can be in the centre in 30 minutes so there is lots to do.

I will leave a link to a few posts I have made that may give you a bit more of an insight.
