Gap year

I was 3 months into university, constantly skipping. I chose the wrong degree and the university was prestigious but I've never felt so insecure and uncomfortable in my life. Going through mental health issues isn't helping. I'm thinking of going into human resources, what kind of universitys have the best courses for that, and what kind of knowledge should I know about human resources?

Assuming you're based in the UK, it's not really necessary to do a degree to get into HR. You should do the CIPD qualification, which is specifically for HR.

Instead of asking whether you are doing the right degree, I would ask yourself the following:

Why do you want a degree? - if you're saying just to get a job, you're doing it for the wrong reasons.

What subjects do you actually like?

What would you actually regret doing and not doing at uni?

What sort of job do you actually want? Instead of mentioning salary, security, etc. ask yourself, what would you enjoy doing day in day out if money and time weren't limiting factors

Getting a job in HR typically doesn't require you to have any specific qualification. People with GCSEs and A Levels can go into it without hiccups.
