my grades don’t match with my interests

okay so I mostly get good grades in biology, chemistry, physics, geography and imedia
But I don’t really want to go into the medical and instead do a corporate job like finance/law??? What do I do because I want to pick subjects that I have good grades in but also I’m interested in that also link to the good degree. Geography and creative imedia are completely opposite subjects …should I just go with stem subjects knowing that the likelihood of me being in the corporate sector and ending up in a hospital workplace is VERY LIKELY?

Plenty of commercial & corporate roles in biomedical/ bioscience industries. Additionally you can still pursue law/business etc. with your subjects. You could look at corporate apprenticeships.

So do you think I should pick one of the science subjects as my a levels? Because if I go with Law or Finance, Unis often require either English or maths for those degrees and I’ve never really achieved high grades in English or maths so it’s very unlikely I will pick them for a level. But yet I’m still interested in law and finance for some reason. Any subjects or careers that are inbetween science and maths??

I would focus on what you are wanting to do for a career (at a high level you don’t need to have a specific job in mind but ideas about jobs you would want to be in), both from a perspective of what the job is and the activities involved in the job.

I would keep in mind having a diverse mix of subjects can keep your options open, so trying to find a balance that keeps all options you are interested open.

I also note you talk about degrees not careers, ie finance/law, do these degrees open the doors you want opening? Are there other options which get you where you want to go…
