Personal statement: science to history

Throughout my college years I have always thought i was gonna pursue science at university but recently I have realised that what i actually want to do is a degree in history. The problem is my personal statement is due at the end of the month and is entirely catered towards doing a degree in chemistry and all my extracurriculars are science based, is there anyway i can link these things to my skills in history or should i not mention them and just focus on reading history essays, articles and doing online courses??

History linked with science in some way?

There's likely one or two things you could transfer over (especially essay things), but it'll likely be new stuff you'll need input to this new PS.

Thank you for the response, i know i can link some science with the archaeology aspect of history and maybe some skills of historians and scientists overlap!
