It honestly depends on a lot of things:

How comfortable are you with risk and uncertainty?

How important is WLB (work life balance) to you?

Do you prefer to work on a variety of projects or would you rather specialize?

Would you prefer to work with clients or not?

Would you prefer to work in a team or alone?

Before you decide on which path you'd want, ask yourself what kind of things you're looking for in your line of work, then you can decide based on this. I strongly encourage you to talk with professionals in the different industries you have your eyes on to get a better idea on how it's like to work there.

However, don't sweat it too much, you're still a freshman, so you have plenty of time ahead of you. Network a bit but don't burn yourself doing that and focus on having good grades.

I have a bit of experience, I'm a fresh graduate myself. I've worked in Sales & Trading and in financial regulation.
