For y12 content I would say synthesis is key, so blurt all that you know off the top of your head, then find a map showing all y12 reactions that you actually like and trace it using videos etc trying to understand what is happening at each stage and then replicate until you can draw out and link all y12 mechanisms with reactions, reagents, conditions etc. Once you are able to do this , to keep it fresh you can just draw one weekly, which wont take you too long and then later every other week. As for y13, as you learn the content add it to this map, doing the same thing as with the y12 mechnanims, if you keep up with the y13 ones as you go along, by teh end you should know all mechanisms inside out. Most of AQA organic is to do with mechanims etc tbh, then the hcunch on polymers, nmr etc you can cover however you normally cover content. Oh, and ofocurse do qs as you go along for understanding, Hope this helps, wishing u the best of luck

Sorry if i wasnt clear by synthesis i mean connecting the ideas, so like connecitng the reactions, you cant complete the whole organic synthesis mindmap until u cover y13 content but you can still do the first half which is the y12 content anywyas, so alkane----->halogenoalkane---->alcohol etc and on the arrows note reganets conditiosn etc, tbh the bulk of organic chem is mechanisms, tailored tutors has free resorces which include a map and so does physics and maths tutor ,and im sure there is lots more that i havent seen yet either. And ur welcome , glad i could help.

All the yellow ones are basically mechanisms mostly with added other info,so yes i woudl say most is mechs, but mechs with reagents, conditions etc

put all the year 12 content into gizmo and it will make flashcards and test you on the content

seneca cram mode which allows you to cram whichever subtopics in a subject you want at once
