Applying to Queen Mary University of London

Hey guys, I’m just wondering if Queen Mary would take BTEC (RQF) CTEC qualifications for Business Management with a year in industry (NN16) - does anyone know, because I have sent them two emails and they still haven’t responded. Additionally, it’s stated on their website, still confusing, but the safest way is always to contact the university, and they are not responding. Just for clarification, that’s BTEC subject CTEC subject CTEC subject each worth one A level and predicted DDD.

Thank you,
This is urgent so I can’t wait for QMU responses anymore, which I’m not even getting.

For the NN16 program, the typical A-level offer is AAA, excluding General Studies, Critical Thinking, and Use of Mathematics.

Given your qualifications—BTEC and CTEC subjects each equivalent to one A-level with predicted grades of DDD—it's important to note that QMUL generally requires additional Level 3 qualifications alongside BTEC studies. This means that applicants with BTEC qualifications are typically expected to present one or more A-levels or equivalent qualifications in addition to their BTEC studies

Since you've already attempted to contact the university without success, you might consider reaching out to the Admissions Office directly via phone for a more immediate response. Additionally, attending an open day or information session could provide further clarity on entry requirements and the suitability of your qualifications.

Okay thanks, that’s a lot of help. Further on the page for the course I want to do, there is a link that take me to a whole page dedicated to BTECS and it says DDD next to business management so I’m slightly confused, so they want DDD and an a level?..
