Hi, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. Thanks for considering us! What are the issues you're having with UCAS can I ask? Not sure if it's just being worried that's driving you nuts but if you're looking for guidance on the platform we can try and help. If you have any questions about Aberdeen do just ask!

I mean you miss all the shots you don't take.

If you're really concerned, then you could possibly get in touch with the admissions teams to see if it's worth applying. They don't want to waste anybody's time and would tell you if you're likely to get an offer or not.

That anxiety totally makes sense at this stage, and you're certainly not alone in it! The above poster makes a good point though that it's much more worth it to take the plunge to find out at this stage. If you're unsuccessful there are plenty of other routes into university (e.g. college, clearing) that you can look at down the line or we can advise you on, but right now you have every reason to think that you'll meet the grades and so I'd encourage you to apply!

Take some more time to think it over if you need to, but if you wanted to submit it so it's out of your mind before the winter break and new year then submitting sooner is definitely an option to consider. Sometimes you just need to cut through the overthinking! If you have more questions for us you can email [email protected] and we'll get back to you in January with some more advise. All the best with your application and weighing up your options.

I definitely would agree with mesub in the sense that you'll miss the offers you don't take! I'm assuming you've already read the entry requirements for Cardiff's Business Management? I unfortunately can't give any advice myself as a student (I'm not involved in the admissions process myself) but I would really recommend contacting the university's admissions team at [email protected] if you were worried about offers. They might be able to give you more helpful advice than I can!

Night life in Cardiff is really good! The student union holds weekly club nights called YOLO, with occasional themed events and silent discos. There's lots of clubs and bars near campus and in city center. I would say its comparable to Bristol, but probably not London, as Cardiff is a much smaller city!
