Applying to University College London

Hello! I was wondering whether UCL accepts CTECs for the BSc Information in Society (GL00) program. I have emailed them but haven’t received a response yet, and since the UCAS deadline is near, I want to finalise everything as soon as possible.

If anyone could clarify on this, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you! :smile:

'BTECs (Business and Technology Education Council) and CTECs (Cambridge Technical) are vocational qualifications. The reason for some subjects being called BTECs and others CTECs is simply the different exam boards; BTECs are run by Pearson, Cambridge Technicals by OCR.'

I would have thought they would be treated the same.

I would have thought they would be treated the same.

Thank you for the reply! But, the thing is my qualification is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and I receive 2 separate grades e.g. DD-DD and on their entry requirements it says DDD, so I’m unsure whether this would be accepted.
