UCAS Christmas

Hi all,

I was just wondering if universities give offers in this last week before Christmas, and if so, what unis?

I got Cardiff yesterday, was just wondering if York, Nottingham and Exeter will get back to me.

I also applied to St Andrews but I know they won’t come back for ages !

Unis will start packing up on Friday 20 Dec and so that evening will be the last moment that decisions would sent to UCAS before Christmas. Most Admissions teams wont be back at their desks until Friday 3 Jan or more likely Monday 6 Jan.

I got St Andrews last week and York a few weeks ago. My friend got York recently also. However, this will depend on which department you applied to.

Smaller universities might be sending decisions to ucas over the closure. It depends on who is doing that work.

Don’t expect anything after Saturday 21 (staff making decisions on Friday 20 can take up to 24 hours for those decisions to be sent to UCAS)
