yeah it's honestly so competitive but im sure youll be offered a place especially because of your work experience, I'm applying in 5th year rn, I got AAABBC at national 5 but I'm aiming for ABBBC at higher so I put pending beside each grade at higher level on my application so I'm hoping to get a conditional offer soon, but there's always UCAS clearing if we don't get a spot. I'm pretty sure they lower grade requirements to something like BBC for BA's in priamry education just to fill leftover spots.
Are you planning on applying for any college courses in Janaury? It's a good back up option, I've applied for an HNC in Childhood Practie at Forth Valley since applications have opened there, you only need two highers at level B including English and you'd definitely be able to get into University after the course (it's only a year) and then you'd only need 2 other highers at level B or above (including English) with the HNC to get into a lot of unis like Strathclyde University or UWS. I know they accept a lot of HNC students because the course is basically identical to first year at Primary Education BA's so they know you'll pass it. You can reuse your uni personal statement for colleges if you're applying in the same year so applying would be easy.
