What are your Christmas Eve traditions?

It's only a week until Christmas Eve! :eek4:

In our house we never really know what to do with ourselves the daytime is for food prep but the evening is often a bit hard to fill. What do you all like to do with your Christmas Eves?

My tradition:
Meeting friends, preparing the foods, eating them, talking with each other, unwrapping gifts and playing board games now and then.

Today isn't really Christmas. It's Boxing Day (Basically just a bank holiday because it's the day after Christmas.)

The boxing day counts to Christmas in Germany, we have three of them. The last two ones are boxing days for Germans, strictly speaking.
