EPQ

I am struggling to pick an epq title, my areas of interest are: medical research (cancer research), drug trials, medical autonomy, medical ethics and vaccinations.
Any help with picking a title would be appreciated

Are there any particular cases on the news that have intrigued you? Focus on finding something you find interesting first and then work from there to build a focus.

Well that depends on what you are researching in those areas of interest
(cancer research and drug trials) - can we use removed cancer tissue to test new cancer drugs to improve chance of survival
The ethics of testing on animals
How can we determinate if someone is sound of mind to make medical desitions
One good thing you could try is putting all your ideas on a mind map and put pros and cons, just do a small amount of research to see how much research is available for each before you start. I found that very useful when I did my own
One big thing of your EPQ is the development of your topic title

Look at the current health news items on the BBC site etc - because they are current there will be lots of accessible info / opinions available. Keep the topic question very simple and 'small'. Remember its an extended essay for a Sixth Former and not a 3-year PhD thesis.
