Choosing third subject in A level

Hi my daughter is in year 12 and she has taken Chemistry and Biology for A level subjects. She is keen to take PE as her third subject. Will PE accepted by universities for admission in to medicine?

Yes, biology chemistry and PE are a suitable combination for medicine degrees (other than Cambridge which requires maths).

Yes, many medicine universities won't be very concerned about your third subject - as long as you're doing Chemistry and Biology. However, even better for you, PE is one that relates to the subject area of medicine so it's a great subject for her to select as her third A-Level.

As long as you are doing biology and chemistry, then you have the main 2 seicnces. It doesnt matter about the 3rd one too much.
The odd uni might prefer maths, but that's the minority.
