Hi, 2nd year banking and finance student here. Basically, nothing is ever guaranteed on results day, so there would be quite a few on clearing, maybe Bristol but also Bristol might not be on there. If you are concerned you might not get the grades for your main choices, then I would urge you to not just focus on 1 university. I’ll give you some others that fall in and around Bristol in terms of reputation wise. 1st. Swansea university 2. Bath university 3. Manchester University 4. Cardiff university 5. York university. Those are the best universities for finance, in and around the same “reputation” as Bristol. If you are looking for more other schools for finance at a lower grade boundary I can give them to u, but I think you get my point. Hope this has helped :smile:

I already hold offers from Cardiff and Birmingham but I think I could get into a better uni for accounting ,I may consider using UCAS extra

Ok you “hold offers” that’s the key here, only if you get the grades will those offers turn into accepted ones. If you think you can get into a better uni, I doubt this affects you, but thought I would say it regardless. As someone in the finance field, why accounting? What attracted to you to accounting? I’m not asking to bash the option, I’m just genuinely curious about why you want to do accounting. Cause accounting as a whole is quite a boring job, full of excel spreadsheets, you would need to be very good at excel. But yeah once again just curious on the why part.
