What are the typical Exeter offers gradewise

I got an AAA offer from Exeter. Is this the usual offer, and what sorts of things impact grade requirements?

Hi my offer is AAB, which is lower that the typical offer (A*AA/AAA) as I go to a school that is eligible for a contextual offer

Hi bilbobaggins145,

Great news on your offer from Exeter!

There are lots of things that might impact the offer a student receives, most significantly this will vary by subject and course. You can find the standard entry requirements for each course on our website, for example for BSc Zoology the entry requirements are here. You can also see from this example that course variants, such as year abroad or integrated Masters courses often have slightly higher entry requirements compared to the three-year variant. As part of the University of Exeter's commitment to wider participation in higher education we also make contextual offers, which you can learn more about here. This may allow certain students who fit relevant eligibility criteria to receive offers lower than those typically advertised on our website.

I hope that helps to answer your question, but please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
