Year 10 textiles tips

Any tips for coursework, making it look more put together and sophisticated, anything NOT to do, anywhere to get resources from, etc. THANK YOU

I found that textiles was quite free, we never had to put our work together in a particular way- you could keep things very simple or have elaborate backgrounds and titles- its really up to you! You don't get marks for presentation, but make sure anything you do add to present your work doesn't detract from your main piece of work. Try to add detailed annotations as well as pictures of the things you have used for inspiration (whether that be pictures you have taken or pictures of artists' work)

For resources on artists (i hope thats what you meant, if not let me know 🙂 ) theres a website called "Textile Artists", or you individual artists' webistes - they usually have loads of info!
