has anyone heard anything from bristol? i got a completely unexpected offer from king's last night for law because i was absolutely expecting to be rejected, but still nothing from bristol yet i applied in october for context! is it safe to say my lnat went pretty decently then to get an offer from kcl? im a home non-contextual student with pretty uncompetitive gcses but predicted A*A*A*

i’m same as you predicted wise although i’m contextual home student, and i’m still waiting for bristol law 😭 i think they are waiting until the deadline to start giving offers? but it does also say on their website if you haven’t heard from them after 8 weeks of applying email them to check what stage your application is at! could help with stress of the unknown. good luck 💓

hi so i applied to bristol last year (2024) for law, basically they only give out offers after everyones sat their LNAT to be fair so after jan 29th (because thats the final deadline to sit the lnat), bris heavily uses the LNAT + ur predicted grades + GCSEs for admissions. I think if I'm correct it's on the wesbite, but last yr it was a weighting of 40% LNAT results, 40% predicted grades, 20% GCSEs (don't qoute me on tht thou it is on the website somewhere).
bris dont rly look at personal statements at all.
so anyways I wouldn't worry for law bris gives out offers very very late. I got my bristol offer last year in march 2024 i think, I had some friends also for law bris waiting till I think almost may 2024, so dw bristol just give out their offers very late esp for law!!!!!
I was predicted A*AA, and got 21/42 on my LNAT last yr for context, but I did get a contextual of AAB, hope tht helps but honestly dont stress 🙂 u wont be hearing anything for bristol law until after jan most likely.

I've also applied for Law at Bristol and Kings! haven't heard back from any of them yet but I'm just wondering how long after your LNAT did you hear from Kings because I just took mine yesterday and i'm lowkey bricking it good job on the Kings offer though, that's amazing!

Have you received an email telling you that you been put on Hold by Bristol? This would mean they had processed/scored your application - if not, they may not have received your LNAT results / or marked your essay yet. *Phone* Bristol after 6 Jan to check.

thank you so much! i sat my lnat on october 8th and heard back from king's on wednesday, so it took them about two months to give me an offer also have you had an email from bristol to say you've been put on hold? i've literally heard nothing apart from the acknowledgement that they've received my application

i haven't received anything from them apart from an email in october letting me know they'd received my application i've double checked my details on ucas and on the pearson vue website and everything matches, so i don't know why they haven't emailed me yet thank you for letting me know, i'll definitely call them in january

nope, nothing except for the acknowledgement and a reminder to sit the lnat i've heard that Bristol wait for the LNAT deadline and will put people on hold in january up until when they start giving offers in feb-march but i'm not sure if that's fully correct

i've seen people on here being put on hold so i'm sort of worried now hahah, it's looking like my first choice if i get an offer - i really like the university and the course so im hoping they send me an email soon, i think i'll probably call them in jan just to confirm they've received my results i hope your lnat went well btw honestly if you feel it went badly don't even worry, i was so convinced i bombed mine and loads of my friends felt the same!!

hope you get an offer from bristol too! also my section b was lowkey horrific i almost shed a tear, they literally brought it up in my cambridge interview bc i didn't finish my conclusion 😫 hoping my section a went okay though!!
What were your stats and were you a contextual state student please
My scenario is a little different. I’m an international student who applied with a diploma. I suppose the grade conversion should be straight A’s. As for LNAT grades, I’m not too sure as it hasn’t been released yet. However, I did average 23-25 on Arbitio, and scored 29 on the LNAT sample paper.

Thank you! And congratulations on the offer also, that's amazing!
