Good news: high paying jobs usually don't require you to have a specific degree

Bad news: you're not likely going to secure a job, let alone a high paying one, if all you are offering is a degree.

Basic economics dictate that people pay you in exchange for the value that you provide. They definitely won't pay you just because you have letters after your name. If that was ever the case, all graduates with doctorate degrees would be raking it in and be millionaires just because of their qualifications. This is just entitlement - get your head out of the gutter.

High paying roles tend to involve one if not more of the following, from what I have seen:

A lot of technical knowledge that requires years of training and education (what you are likely to be thinking)

Very very skilled at particular crafts that very few people are capable of accomplishing

A lot of risk

A lot of responsibility

Long hours

Something that is in demand with very few options or people to be able to carry out the job - either because the role involves a lot of risk, the job is really boring, or you need to be really really good

A lot of people skills and you need to a top notch people person to do things correctly

Very sales oriented

If you actually wanted to, you can go and become:

A salesperson

A CEO of your own company

External auditor

Trader

Designer

Marketer

Do note, there is a lot of risk involved in the roles above and in some cases can land you in prison if you do them incorrectly. In some cases, you can be handsomely well paid if you are very very good at what you do.

If you do by some miracle manage to secure a top paying role but you fail to perform in your job, your high salary becomes an unnecessary expense. People pay you because they expect you to provide value or revenue that exceeds what they are paying you (ideally by 3-10x); if you don't then it's a loss to them.

So yeah, the main point is there is no free lunch. If you still want a high paying role, then pick your poison.
