Southend Campus Uni

Hi I’ve been looking an unis i could go to and one of the was the Southend Campus which is closer to me. I was thinking of doing the Counselling course but anyone who went or still is studying in the uni, how is it like?
Hey @Graziellax 👋🏻

I am glad that you are interested in our Southend campus! I think there are a few points that may help you know more about our Southend campus:

City base campus 🏫
Our Southend campus is located in the heart of Southend. The campus offers students easy access to the town's amenities, including shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The main buildings that you may use will be the Forum and the Gateway building (they are the main academic buildings).

Location 🚉
The campus is just a short walk from Southend Central train station, which provides quick connections to London (approximately 45 minutes to an hour by train).

Courses offer 🌿
The Southend campus is mainly made up of three academic departments: Essex Business School, the School of Health and Social Care, and the East 15 Acting School.

Student Life and Study 📚
The Southend Campus also has a range of activities held by our student-elected Student Union! You can also choose to live in our student square, a modern and comfortable living option near the campus!

I am a student studying at the Colchester Campus, it is a lovely campus-based campus surrounded by green and academic buildings. It is also a big campus with over 16,000 students from 140 countries! As you have mentioned about your interest in studying Counselling which I believe is under the Psychology department, you may only be able to enrol on this course on our Colchester campus.

I hope my answer helps you know more about our Southend campus and I wish you all the best for everything 😆🍀
