EPQ

Hi, does anyone have any title ideas for an EPQ on either oncology, cardiology or haematology? I want to do it on something that I’m interested in and that I can evaluate.

Well, what do you have so far? Resource wise? Make sure you pick something that has an ongoing debate so you can look at both sides of it - preferably something ethics based as those are always easiest to talk about.
Some current oncology debates you can choose to talk about; precision medicine, immunotherapy, cancer screening guidelines, access to cancer treatment, roles of AI, cost of cancer treatment, genetic editing & CRIPSR (super interesting, would make a great EPQ IMO.), palliative care vs aggressive treatment, biomarker testing,
Cardiology debates; use of statins, screening for cad, hypertension management, PCI vs CABG, TAVR vs SAVR, anticoagulation therapy, HFpEF vs HFrEF, cardiac rehabilitation
Haematology debates; gene therapy, use of CAR-T cell treatment, anemia management, bone marrow transplants, MDS treatment, blood transfusion practices, use of biosimilars, CLL treatment strategies, thrombophilia testing, iron chelation therapy
