personal statements: different types of engineering

would it be possible to apply to two different types of engineering (civil engineering and aerospace engineering). if so how would i be able to write a personal statement

well, someone in my year has offers for both robotics and structural (with architecture) engineering, as well as general, so you can definitely apply to more than one, but i have no idea how she went about it. i think she mentioned that she tried to include skills and experience that could be linked to multiple different branches of engineering, and wrote small chunks on each type too. sorry i couldn't be more help, hope it works out (:

Hi @aylemzz32

You can apply for more than one course.
When writing your personal statement you could focus it on more general things that apply to both courses, for example what skills do you have that would make you suitable for both types of engineering. Consider what similarities the 2 courses have as this will help you to have a balanced personal statement. Try to avoid only writing specific information about one course.
