Do the UEA look a applications during the Christmas break?

I was wondering if the UEA look at applications at all and give out offers (or rejections) during the Christmas holidays? If anyone would reply I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

Hi there,

I know how nerve-wracking it can be waiting for a response after submitting your application! Typically, UEA’s admissions team doesn’t process applications or give out offers during the Christmas holidays, as the university closes for a break around that time. Most admissions staff return in early January, so any offers or decisions would likely be made after that.

That said, don’t worry too much about the timeline UEA is known for being quite efficient once everything is back up and running. You’ll usually hear back within a few weeks after the break. In the meantime, try to relax and enjoy the holidays (easier said than done, I know!).

If you haven’t already, it’s worth checking your UCAS Hub regularly sometimes decisions appear there before any emails come through.

Good luck with your application! UEA is a fantastic place to study, and I hope you get the offer you’re hoping for.

Best,
Daniel
