Leeds uni entry requirements

I've been looking over the entry requirements to go to Leeds. I just wanted to ask if a person haven't got the grades they ask for in their GCSE's will they reject your offer? Because the entry requirements to go into their business school for finance and accounting, a person needs a 7 in maths GCSE. But I got a 5 in maths, but I did higher maths so I don't if they care or not, should I phone them?

GCSE requirements are not just 'nice to have' - they are about the essential basic skills required to complete that course. If you apply without the right GCSE Maths grade, you will get an immediate rejection.

Its worth asking Leeds if A level Stats trumps your GCSE Maths grade.

Hey it’s worth ringing them up in my opinion, one of my friends got rejected for another course because their gcse maths grade wasn’t high enough.
