Uni of Leeds or Bradford Mature Student

Hey everyone I’m a mom and my son is autistic and I wanted to study computer science . I did an access to HE diploma in computer science and received all distinctions . However I am torn where to go I’m from Bradford so it would be convenient to study here as childcare will be easier to manager however I received an off from uni of Leeds and I don’t know if it’s worth travelling every day and then trying to sort child care . The only reason I’m torn is due to the ranking of the course as Leeds is higher in ranks but I like the syllabus in Bradford .any advice would be great

How are you? Congrats on receiving an offer from the University of Leeds and Bradford both - that's a great achievement. My personal advice would be to go with your gut feeling - the ranking is definitely important for students to choose a place to study, but convenience and ease are also very important, considering you will be studying full-time for 3 years.

Have you booked onto our Open Day in January? It might be helpful for you to come along and see our facilities, speak to academics and current students and see how you feel to help make an informed decision.
