Has anyone got into University of Southampton with an Access to Higher Education dipl

I am considering doing an Access course online in 2025, then hopefully apply to the University of Southampton 2026, so I am wondering if there's anyone who has done it the same way to help me out with what specific modules did they do for the Access course etc.
Hi

I’m not really sure what do you mean by access course online. https://www.southampton.ac.uk/courses/free-online-learning.page
Here is what I find from the university Website. Feel free to have a look at it. If you can anymore question you can always ask student hub for more helps.

I hope this is useful😊

Hi
I mean has anyone done an Access to Higher Education Diploma (Science/Healthcare) online with Distance Learning Centre (for example), then after that, applied to the University of Southampton for a BSc in Audiology?.

On the University of Southampton website it says it takes people who did an Access to Higher Education diploma in Science but does not specify how many credits are required per science subject/module.

Also I am not sure if they take students who did an Access to Higher Education diploma online.

I'd suggest just contacting the uni directly by email to ask, they can advise directly

Hi, I've taught on an Access to HE program for over 10 years - there is some great advice here already.

Speak to the admissions tutor at the University/ies of your choice to see what modules would best suit you for an audiology course. A lot of online providers would probably just enrol you on an Access to Science without much thought, however there might be preferred modules if there are options. For instance, I know a lot of Science students who want to study radiography at University so they do physics instead of health science (which is basically additional biology).

A conditional offer is not always the same for every student that applies in terms of UCAS points, it depends on previous qualification as well. Sometimes, learners are offered a place at interview if they are really strong and haven't quite met their target (especially if they have mitigating circumstances)

I would also be tempted to speak to the Program Leader for Access to HE at your local FE college to see what options they have there.
