Changing mind about university

Hi, just had a quick question about the UCAS and offer process. So let's say hypothetically I apply for university. I then get a job offer or secure an apprenticeship or something else that makes me not want to do university anymore. Can I just cancel my application/reject my offer? I've applied for university and gotten a conditional offer from my top pick, but just wanted to ask this question so I know what to do if, in the very unlikely situation, that I don't want to pursue university.
Yes, but be aware of any deposits you might need to pay for accomodation down the line.

Hi,

First of all congratulations for getting a conditional offer, this is an amazing achievement so feel proud about it!

Don't feel pressured into going forward with university just because you have an offer, you are able to reject your offer at any time to persue other paths. The main thing is do what is best for you as an individual, don't feel as though just because a friends gone down one route that you must follow. 🙂

I hope this helps, and that you succeed no matter what you decide!

Feel free to ask anymore questions you have! 🙂

Yes, you can cancel any place right up to the point of formal enrolment in September
OR you can ask to defer any confirmed place to give yourself a year to decide if that apprenticeship pr job is what you actually want.
