University Options - Economics

I’m an A-Level student with predicted grades of A*AA in DT, Maths, and Physics. I want to study Economics and work in investment banking at a BB or EB bank. I know banks target places like LSE, Oxbridge, and UCL, but they usually need an A in Maths, which I don’t have. I’ve looked into KCL, Bristol, Durham, and Bath—would these unis still put me in a good position, or are there better options?

oxford E&M only needs 6, and most courses similar to econ like finance or management sometimes don’t need 7 in the unis you mentioned. Moving away from pure econ is the only case where I think you could go to a target uni, if you are not willing to do that the other unis you’ve looked into are good, though you will have to work harder to break into IB.

i said 6 and 7 by accident because i don’t do A-levels - what I meant was A and A-star respectively.

also only now realised since you have your predicteds it’s probably too late for oxford - my bad. But you definitely still have time to shift your PS to tailor to the different courses I mentioned I think!
