I want to study economics and want to know my chances at LSE, Warwick and UCL. My predicteds are A* Maths, A* Economics, A* History, A portuguese and A for further maths AS. IGCES are A* for economics and Maths, 7 A's and 1 B.
i applied for accounting n finance in LSE UCL Warwick Manchester n Glasgow, got into Warwick glasgow n manchester, havent yet heard from LSE n UCL but im optimistic. I had A*A*A*A*A* predicted coz im an international student and we have 5 subjects here. i think u have a decent shot sinve u have A*A*A* in a level i dont think GCSEs matter that much

Your GCSEs are IGCSEs, therefore good enough for LSE, but you might wish to consider applying post A-Level with your grades achieved perhaps? 🙂

Also, I would suggest you self-study A-Level Further Maths since you will do A-Level Further Maths content in Year 1 at LSE.

Furthermore, LSE make use of the UCAS Personal Statement and expect it to be 'stellar' 😉

Do you think they give any attention to furter maths AS? On the site they recommend doing even if you're not doing FM A2 but idk how much it'll help me and if it is enough for them.

More than 90% of the applicants will have A* or A predicted in A-Level Further Maths.
You should take the full FM A level for LSE, if possible. For Warwick and UCL you'll be fine though.

EDIT: I've just realised you're already doing 4 A levels, so it probably isn't possible for you to do FM. I'd probably suggest you email LSE admissions in the new year to see if your subjects are acceptable. Also I'm not sure if you're y12 or y13. If y12, is it possible for you to drop one of your subjects and do the full FM A level instead? (probably portuguese since you have an A in it)

I live in Portugal and here our last year is form 12 so you're year 13, im doing four a levels, as in portugal they force us to do Portuguese A level and because I had a good grade in History AS so i didn't want to waste it. In hindsight maybe I should of dropped and went for FM A2. Nevertheless I wasn't planning to apply to LSE i just wanted to see if it was possible, Warwick is my top choice.

It's definitely still possible, it's just that they prefer the full A level. You should still apply there.
